What happens when you have a trip planned to train new workers in a new area, but civil war ramps up, and it is no longer safe for anyone to travel? That’s what happened to Ultimate Mission during November of 2021. Our team was geared up and ready to travel to Ethiopia to train 15 new national workers. The day before departure, the trip had to be called off. However, God is using this as an opportunity for us to standardize our training and make it available anytime, anywhere. We have created new PowerPoint and video presentations that can be used by any trainer without us having to be in the room with them. A major let down has turned into a major advance we needed so our training would be even more accessible! We couldn’t do any of this without you! Our health workers have learned that the health of each village depends on the health of the Mothers and Grandmothers in the village. That means it is important for us to focus our energy on women’s health.
